Natalya Romanovsky

Born in Moldova, Natalya Romanovsky studied graphic design at Chisinau Art College before beginning her career as an illustrator for children’s publications. After moving to the United States in 1993, she devoted herself to painting, developing a distinctive semi-abstract style characterized by vibrant colors, rich textures, and expressive movement. Her intuitive creative process begins with spontaneous sketches, allowing shapes and figures to emerge organically as each composition evolves. Blending elements of abstraction and figuration, Romanovsky creates imaginative, dreamlike worlds filled with emotion, mystery, and playful energy. Her paintings celebrate the beauty of everyday life, inviting viewers to discover their own stories within each work.
