How It All Started

Irina Falberg established the gallery as an intimate pop-up initiative, conceived to provide a dedicated platform for Cleveland artists to present their work within a thoughtfully curated setting. In the course of its development, she encountered an extraordinary and singular body of work: a museum-caliber collection of Naive art assembled over more than twenty-five years by Dan Chill, encompassing artists from numerous countries and cultural traditions.

At a time marked by increasing fragmentation, Falberg recognized the cultural significance of preserving and presenting this collection, one that brings together diverse artistic voices within a unified curatorial framework. The gallery continues to uphold this vision, offering audiences the opportunity to engage with works that reflect both the individuality of their makers and the shared human narratives that transcend borders.

The collection is further enriched by the vibrant language of contemporary practice, spanning abstraction, impressionistic expression, pop, and kaleidoscopic explorations of color and form, together celebrating the vitality and immediacy of life as it is seen, felt, and imagined today.

Extending beyond exhibition, the gallery serves as an active site of cultural engagement, offering art classes and thoughtfully curated programs that invite local communities to participate directly in the creative process. Through these initiatives, it fosters a deeper connection between artists and audiences, sustaining an environment where artistic practice, education, and shared experience converge.
