Alexandria Gallery Finds a Permanent Home at Eton Mall, Expanding a Pop-Up Vision into a Lasting Arts Destination

Woodmere, Ohio — What began as a brief nonprofit pop-up has evolved into a lasting cultural presence at Eton Mall. Under the leadership of Irina Falberg, the initiative launched as The Pop Up Art Gallery with a simple but meaningful purpose: to better understand the struggles artists face and to create a model where their work could be seen, valued, and supported.

Originally planned as a summer 2025 project, the gallery quickly became something more. As the space opened inside Eton Mall near Barnes & Noble, Apple, and Tiffany & Co., artists found renewed hope that their work could generate income through the initiative, while visitors discovered an uncommon collection of world folk and naive art. The response from both artists and the community revealed a deeper need for continuity, inspiring the gallery to extend its lease through December 2025.

That momentum continued when the Stark family offered favorable terms to help establish a long-term physical home for the gallery. With that support, the project has now matured into Alexandria Gallery, a permanent space dedicated to helping artists reach more hearts and helping people choose paintings that enhance their everyday experiences.

Through close relationships built with local artists and artists from 30 countries, Alexandria Gallery presents a distinctive collection that brings together world folk and naive art, along with abstract and post-impressionistic works, creating variety in style and perspective that appeals to a wider audience. The gallery offers the local community access to exceptional work while helping artists build meaningful financial opportunities through exhibition and sales.

“From the beginning, this project was about listening to artists and understanding what sustainability in the arts really requires,” said Irina Falberg, leader of the nonprofit behind the gallery. “As the pop-up took shape, it became clear that this was more than a temporary experiment. It was a space with the power to serve artists and the community in a lasting way.”

Alexandria Gallery stands as a new arts destination in Cleveland suburbs, offering visitors an invitation into a world of visual storytelling, cultural heritage, and creative connection. Rooted in collaboration and shaped by a broad international network, the gallery reflects a commitment to art as both a human expression and a source of daily inspiration.
